PROJECT: An interactive desert bar for 250 people, at a VIP dinner in the Vanderbought Building, Brussels. Custom chocolate terrazzo tiles were smashed by dinner guests. Each received a bespoke flødeboller.

CLIENT: Porcelanosa
WORK: Event

PROJECT: Live chocolate demonstration in the luxury tile company’s London, Chelsea, showroom. Large chocolate tiles were inspired by materials used by the architectural guests of honour. Tile textures were finished in front of the party and smashed by the architects.

PROJECT: Held in the Marble.Partners railway arch showroom, we invited our guests and friends of BRIK to make their own chocolate discs and tasting our range alongside flavour matched organic prosecco and homemade cordial.

PROJECT: Surface design show 2020, London Business Center, Islington.

For the opening day of the Surface Design show we joined forces with material consultants Surface Matter making two bespoke 40x40cm mega tiles of their new Durat collection of recycled plastics.

WORK: Event

PROJECT: Bespoke terrazzo tiles and chips for Berlin based jewellery brand.

For Räthel & Wolf we made grey, white and black earl grey and orange tiles matching their brand for them to send out with their jewellery orders as a gift to their clients.

CLIENT: Bonhams
WORK: Custom piece, event

PROJECT: A number of notable artworks were going under the hammer at world renowned auction house, Bonhams. All paintings followed the theme of texture. To mark the occasion BRIK crafted five exact replicas from chocolate. Among the artworks was an Andy Warhol piss painting and a Bogart, which its buyer said they were compelled to bid on after eating BRIK’s chocolate version that evening.

PROJECT: For the launch of interior designer Tom Dixons new green marble range, we mirrored the intricate natural facade by creating a hanging orbit of spheres hand-painted with spirulina, matcha and other natural colours. Inside sat a soft and fluffy raspberry Italian meringue on a zesty lemon marzipan base.

PROJECT: To celebrate the launch of designer, Harvey Nichols’ new season collection, BRIK created a customised terrazzo chocolate tile. We zeroed in on the intriguing details of an embroidered jacket and interpreted the pattern within the chocolate tile.

WORK: Collaboration

PROJECT: BRIK and eccentric illustrator John Booth combined creative energy to play around with the dome format. Booth intricately used the moulds as his pseudo canvas before Kia Utzon-Frank ever so carefully poured in the chocolate. What emerged from the kitchen was an incredible synergy of the two minds and a range of whimsical domes.

PROJECT: BRIK worked with leading architectural tile company, Parkside, to create an edible product experience for its customers. We created an exact replica terrazzo tile that had clients pondering which was chocolate and which was ceramic. The BRIK tile was made of a custom flavour combination; grapefruit and rhubarb.

PROJECT: Clients Marc OPolo Sweden opted for 3 mega terrazzo tiles in its new season colour palette complete with a embossed logo and served to party guests smashing them with a hammer.

PROJECT: For the Danish fashion stalwart, BRIK chiseled 4 mega terrazzo tiles reflecting the elegance and colours of the brands latest collection. The tiles were served by smashing them with a hammer and colours and flavours of the tiles matched the drinks served during the launch event.
